WOW! What a great puppy! I had the privilege of delivering this big, mushy angel on my own couch, as Tess wasn’t ready for the whelping box for the first puppy! We bonded from the very minute he was born. Since he was the only male in the litter, I knew he was mine from day one.
His temperament is so different from my girls. I have never had a male in the house before, so only had descriptions of what it’s like from friends. They weren’t joking! Having a male is a totally different experience. He is so affectionate and sweet. He is eager to please and is just, for lack of a better way to explain it, in love with me!
I have been running him in Field Trials in Puppy and Derby Stakes and he’s been having a blast. He also just recently finished his Junior Hunter requirements to earn that first juvenile title. I look forward to moving through both Senior and Master Hunter with him as well.
Reece is very easy to handle and I truly look forward to learning the ropes with my boy myself. I have chosen to train him with the help and advice of my friends, as opposed to using a professional trainer like I did with Tess. So far, it has been so much FUN! I learn something new every time we go out.
