Vitesse Vizslas is located in the heart of the Historic St. John’s Church District of Richmond, Virginia; more commonly referred to as Church Hill. 

 

The kennel name comes from my second Vizsla, Broad Run’s Blazn Vitesse JH, “Tess” and translates from its French origin to Speed.  My late husband, Bob, and I felt it was most appropriate for our competitive field prospect puppy.  Tess is the foundation of my breeding program, upon which I intend to build a lasting legacy of healthy, sweet tempered versatile Vizslas.

 

It was our intention to continue to become more involved with competitive events (field and conformation), to build our kennel for occasional breeding of small numbers of quality Vizslas, and to enjoy our dogs together for the rest of our lives. I feel that the best way to remember Bob and keep him close to my heart every day is to continue the activities we both loved so much, and which brought us closer to each other and to our dogs.
